
The Dangers of a Solely Scientific Approach to Sustainability
We collectively need a wider range of sources of truth to making decisions that involves more than calculations: a framework of how we—as one of the vast number of species on this planet—can be in service to all of life, and how to tap into a deeper well to decide what is right for us to do and no do in our lives. Calculations shouldn’t and can’t be our sole source of information.

Consumption Volume: An Elephant in the Room
We haven’t created any mechanisms to limit overall consumption, to limit total volumes of extraction, product, consumption, and disposal so, any work we do on efficiency is outpaced by volume.

Letting Go of Certainty
The age of experts has reached its limits; we now need to figure out how to reshape things collectively.
